1. Open the battery cover, gently push the card as indicated until the card reaches the bottom of the slot.

2. Open the LCD monitor or press and hold down the power button for 1 second until the camcorder shuts off.

Schweddy Balls Ice Cream

1. This story is about Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream creating a special editon ice cream flavor called "Schweddy Balls." Its vanilla ice cream with rum and malt balls. There is lots of controversy with the name because it sounds innapropriate, but the company claims they named it after a skit from the show Saturday Night Live.

2. I think it shows that whatever Ben & Jerry's names their ice cream, people will still eat it.

3. Timliness, Human Interest.

4. I would talk about the controvery of the name, shoot a couple of interviews, the ice cream, and a shot from the Saturday Night Live skit.

Minneapolis Want Money

The Vikings might move their stadium to Arden Hills, MN. If they sell the Metrodome, the City of Minneapolis wants at least 30 million dollars from this. I think this is a fair deal because the Metrodome is located in Minneapolis. Also, when the new Twins stadium was built, the residents of Hennipen County were taxed to help pay for the field. I'm sure once the Metrodome was built, the same thing happened. I think its only fair if the Vikings give some of the money back to the city that helped build their stadium.

iPhone 5

On October 4th, the iPhone 5 will hit the shelves to buy. It is said that the iPhone is already on the market online. This is going to be the most advanced iPhone yet with lots of great new features.

Ruby Bridges

Ruby Bridges was a 6-year old girl African-American girl who lived in New Orleans. She was the first ever African-American to attend an all white school. She was born in the 1950's. This was significant because during this time, the South was still very segregated.

Adrian Peterson break Vikings TD Record

On Sunday, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson broke the record for most ever touchdowns scored by a Minnesota Vikings player. He had a one yard touchdown run in the end of the first quarter. He also had a touchdown in the second quarter. Peterson surpassed former Vikings Chuck Foreman with this touchdown.

Jonesboro Shootings

The Jonesboro shootings happened at Westside Middle School in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 24, 1998. 13-year old Mitchell Johnson and 11-year old Andrew Golden killed 4 students and 1 teacher and 10 other were injured. They did this because they were satanists.

Bob Stoops coaches football at the University of Oklahoma and his brother Mark coaches at Florida State. They play each other this Saturday, but their mom won't go because she said it is too hard too watch. I think this is a little weird. She said she isn't going because she feels bad for whoever looses. This article is a prominence article and also a human interest article.

Bud Grant and His Dog

Recently, former Vikings coach Bud Grant had to put down his dog, Annie. Grant hunted with Annie and said out of all of the dogs he had, Annie was the most well trained. Grant said she was a very good hunter. I can relate to this because I used to have a dog that we had to put down when I was about 5. It is a very sad experience. Now I have a new dog. He is a black lab named Spy.

Google+

A new social networking site called Google+ is added games as a feature to their website. To me, I really don't think it matters for social networks to have games. I feel like Google+ is just trying to copy what Facebook is doing with FarmVille. If Google+ is trying to attract more members, I don't think it will work. Lots of people already use Facebook and seem to enjoy it very much.

9/11

A man who died on 9/11 had his named spelled wrong on the memorial.  His family was very angry about it. I don't think they should be mad because the people had to enter so many names into the system and easily could've misspelled many names.  I think it is the fact that his name is on the memorial that he we be remembered. Also, the staff who printed the names apologized to the family and are doing everything they can to fix it.

OPENING ACTIVITY

A man in Eagan was arrested Wednesday for harboring illegal immigrants as slaves in his basement.  Joo Ok Kim had been keeping these slaves since 2008.  Initially, the immigrants worked for the man's construction company for very little pay.  Over time, the man stopped paying the slaves.  Kim was sentanced to 2 years in federal prison.

Joey Marinello has a pet bearded dragon and loves pizza and ginger ale.  He loves playing football and after school he likes to go sleep and play video games.  When he grows up his dream is to be a doctor.

Savage Girl Wakes Up To Stanger In Bedroom

A 7-year old girl in Savage, MN woke up in the middle of the night to find a man in her bedroom on September 7.  Although nothing happened, she was emotionally hurt.  One week before this incident, another incident happened in the same amaprtment complex.  There was a chair with under a window with the screen popped out of a 7-year old and 2-year old's bedroom.

Joseph Jeffrey Marnello was born on November 4, 1995 in San Fransisco, California.  His favorite food is pizza and his favorite drink is ginger ale.  After school he enjoys sleeping and playing video games.  He plays football at Eastview High school. Joey's favorite animal is a bearded dragon.  In fact, he has a pet bearded dragon name Duey.  When Joey grows up, he would love to be a doctor.
